Terms of Service

By accessing or using NextPlay (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including players, administrators, and spectators.

NextPlay is a real-time sports prediction and trivia game platform designed for live audiences. The service enables players to join live sessions, answer questions, accumulate points, and compete on leaderboards during live events.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any part of it at any time without prior notice. NextPlay shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

To participate in NextPlay sessions, you must provide a display nickname. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any session codes shared with you and for all activities that occur under your session participation.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Platform. By using NextPlay, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

NextPlay is an entertainment and engagement platform. All predictions, polls, and trivia activities are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute gambling or wagering of real money. Points accumulated on the Platform have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash or prizes unless explicitly stated by the event organizer.

Scores are calculated based on correctness, response time, difficulty, and streak bonuses. NextPlay reserves the right to adjust scoring algorithms at any time to improve the user experience.

You agree not to:

• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to participate in sessions
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboards or scoring systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Submit offensive, hateful, or inappropriate nicknames or content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Platform

The Platform, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and the design and arrangement thereof), is owned by NextPlay and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. NextPlay does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NextPlay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, even if NextPlay has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of NextPlay after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
